Both the babies are amasingly cute. We all knew they would be. Miss you all and wish you all were here to congratulate. Keep the pictures coming and keep us informed of every hickup and smile. They will be a lot of work but they are worth every bit of it. Your hearts will melt with every smile and hug. Talk to both soon. Love Aunt Linda and Wally

First congratulations on the birth of your babies. Haven't seen a picture yet but I'm sure thier beautiful. Best of luck to you all! Double the babies- double the fun- the work- the headaches-the money- most of all double the love and happiness. there will be lots of hardwrok and sleepless nights, but its all so worth it. You need to remember to get time away and refresh yourself. pray for patience and guidence. They will be needed, even with the best with babies. Take lots of pictures and treasure every moment good or bad. It all goes by so fast. if people offer to help you, let them. It will help you more than you know. Every hug and kiss with be cheerished for a lifetime. Always remember every baby does things when he or she is ready, no two are alike. Also no parent no matter how hard they try is perfect, so dont bet yourself up. Hugs<3

I really enjoy ready about the most recent doctors visit. I want more pictures! I tried to explain to Jeffrey what twins were today and that auntie Christy has twins in her tummy but he was not that interested lol.

When the babies wake up and cry let them cry a minute or two before picking them up - so many times they will go right back to sleep. Start reading to them when they are just a few months old. I know it sounds crazy but they will love books forever! xo

Remember you guys are the parents and know what's best for "your" family. Everyone gives advice...it's free and can be overwhelming..take it with a grain of salt; all babies aren't the same ;) I found patience was my best tool, especially when Tom was born with colic and would scream for hours with stomach pains. Take a deep breath, swaddle them tightly, sing softly and rock them, smile and know...this to shall pass. Read and talk to them in a slow low voice, it will help them later in life. They also love when you get down to their level and talk to them..and don't forget to take time to listen! Take time to do the silly things; blow bubbles, play with their toes and do exercises and funny patty cake nursery rhymes. Also take time for you and daddy to go out once a month to relax, and don't feel quilty. You will all be a better family for it. Know you will make mistakes...laugh it off and start again. They will make mistakes too...laugh it off and start again too :) Hug & kiss often and say those little three words everyone wants to hear, I love you, and you'll have a wonderful family~

also remember to love every min with them they grow up way to fast

my best advice i can give u is to be patient with them when u think u are going to flip hand the baby or babies over or put them down some where safe and take a few min to compose yourself they can tell when they are getting to u so if u calm down.

We can't wait for those twins to arrive. You'll make great parents. Our advice is to be patient and appreciate every moment with them. They'll be 18 and leaving for college before you know it. Then you can take care of Nana and Papa.

I would also like to add that I think Joe is going to make an amazing Daddy to our kids and that I'm so lucky to have him.

Date: 2012-01-09Christy

I would like to thank everyone for all their hard work, generosity, and contributions towards giving Joe and I the most beautiful baby shower we could've imagined. The twins will be very lucky to know all of you.

I just wanted to say that I think Christy will make the best mother. I see the way she does projects with our nieces/nephew and the way she treats them. I can only hope to be half as good of a parent that she will be.
